I re-read that 4 times and was about to look it up in a dictionary. I thought it was some sort of technical phraseology I hadn't come across before

No "ology" required. Reminds me of this!

There are two versions of Origi.

One full of confidence, and the other drained of it. He was full of confidence in the World Cup and looked a top prospect. He then spent a final year with Lille and looked like the weight of the world was on his shoulders. He was voted in their leagues worst team and he arrived at Anfield looking like that same player, drained of all confidence.

Ever since he got that first goal, his confidence has started to return. He is still very rough around the edges and needs a lot of work. But if he once again looks to be a top prospect and a steal at the price we paid.

He's not the real deal yet, but I'm all for starting players in form and it's an easy argument to make to say he is our most inform striking option available.
                Forwards.......

If you spent a year thinking about being played out of position by rodgers you to would have been drained of all confidence

Too early to say if he's **** or good. Time will tell, at least he has a bit of pace and movement which is sorely lacking in our side.

Origi is well-suited to the new manager’s methods with his pace, strength and capacity to learn. #lfc* (Chris Bascombe)

Good stuff from him the other day.......raw, granted, especially when he elected to shoot in the first half as opposed to sqaring it for a better placed teammate, but he got himself into the position to begin with, which is 50% of the job.
Shame about the injury, but it happens, albeit probably too much with us - might have to look into that if it continues.

This is the most important thing, his runs were really good. The other stuff can be learnt. Although he did cut it back for Firmino on one occasion, just unlucky it was behind him.

Even compared to the Spurs game, he looks far more confident and capable.

Origi limped out of Saturday’s Anfield clash with a hamstring injury, and Klopp ruled the striker out of contention—”miracle” pending—against the Black Cats.

“I cannot say too much about Divock, because I don’t have the results of the scan.

“We have to wait a few more minutes!

“If there’s no miracle he’s not available, so we have to find a solution to this.”
