I think at times his build up play has been ok its been in and around the box were hes looked poorOriginally posted by Exiled_red View PostHopefully this will be the start of his career for us, because so far he's been very average, today he looked a different player, hopefully this will give him a huge confidence boost and he can kick on.
Last night his all round game was much improved and he actually attacked the box / ball far more
I think Origi might turn out to be a decent playerBob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

That's it for me - his mentality / confidence. And we know that's Jurgen. All Brendan's talk of the big rebuilding job needed, money that needed to be spent. JFK has spent **** all and look what he's done. Amazing.Originally posted by Lecter View PostI think at times his build up play has been ok its been in and around the box were hes looked poor

I didn't see the match but I have seen several blogs that suggest he was a bit rubbish until he scored. Would you guys agree? If it is true it would certainly suggest that his struggles are in large part confidence related. I hope he isn't the new Heskey in that regard."The man who never alters his opinion is like standing water, and breeds reptiles of the mind."

Absolutely not. He played very well all game. Closing down the defenders. Running between the lines which gave others space. Played the ball simply and effectively. Klopp and the other fella's have done a great job coaching him since he played the first few games. There was so much more maturity in his game last nightOriginally posted by dww View PostI didn't see the match but I have seen several blogs that suggest he was a bit rubbish until he scored. Definite touch for Origi for the first goal. Keeper would have saved Moreno's shot otherwise. Divock has been playing at 50% capacity for the last 18 months or so. Total confidence player, showing what he can do at 90+%.
He was winning some good headers, he's taller and stronger than he looks. Sturridge's second goal wouldn't have come if he hadn't started if off with the jump against the taller Dick Van Dyke. One tit for another.

Replays showed he got a touch on it and diverted it ever so slightlyOriginally posted by G View PostHas he actually been awarded the hattrick? The first was very dubious, very difficult to tell if he got anything on it. Harsh on Moreno too. Even Divock seemed embarrassed about claiming it.Bob Paisley - "This club has been my life. Some quality players!Originally posted by DannyMan2006 View PostPlayers like that at the time seemed few and far between but more memorable & exciting because of it. The Spurs side of Klinsmann, Dumitrescu & Popescu. Boro with Ravanelli, Emerson & Juninho. Average teams like City with Kinkladze & So'ton with Pahars. Wednesdaywith Di Canio & Carbone.
Newcastle with Ketsbaia, Ginola and Asprilla!Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."
