his touch can seem a bit frantic and he lacks pace but he works hard, gets stuck in, makes great runs and is a very accomplished finisher. He's a great squad player to have.

We obviously have good cover for him, but frustrating that every time he's in a decent run of form, this happens.

Every chance the hectic Christmas schedule takes its toll on one of our other forwards (Nunez probably), then we're down to Doak as first sub.

On a positive note, maybe he'll come back refreshed, just in time to provide cover for Mo going to AFCON and the break will work in our favour.

Usually we give with one hand and take with the other though. Jota will be back a day earlier than originally expected, but a scan has revealed Alisson will be out for over 12 months.

Yeah fantastic option for us, he isn't the most technically gifted but his movement is world class and he just gets into scoring position and knows how to put the ball away. Great to have him back.
