Ignore the point scoring bit, apologies.
England couldn't get the ball off them!

53%-47%!!!!! Which is a tiny majority, indicating Algeria had large spells of the game with the ball themselves. It wasn't 70-30, or 60-40. 53-47! For good parts of the game Algeria monopolised the ball and moved it around better than England did. They had 8 shots on target each, which is evidence Algeria were certainly 'capable of it'.

I've just seen that about the fan getting into the dressing room
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

He should've just stood there in the dressing room, in front of the players, and just booed on his own.

England are mediocre guys, that's not down to lack of passion, it's a lack of talent.

I hope it's been filmed, I'd love to see what went on.

Like I said I just don't get the lack of effort stuff. A lack of quality doesn't equate to a lack of effort. They all busted a gut...Gerrard was charging around, making runs, Carra throwing himself into massive slide tackles....I saw plenty of effort. Just no quality.

What's that got to do with anything? You only have to have watched last night's game to see England went through phases of the game when they were chasing the ball and struggled to get it back. And often when they did get it back they lost it almost immediately. What's contentious about that? I don't see how the stats from some completely different game are in any way relevant.

England's best asset has always been their heart and passion. I've never seen an England team good enough to win a world cup. So what's changed? Supporters should treat it like a bit of a fun outing (it gives them some holidays) - the 'spending a load of money' argument is a bit of a joke in the end.

You would think some of these Ingerlund morons had guns pointed to their heads when taking out bank loans to fund their trip to South Africa.
