i don't think he has the passion or desire....doesn't seem motivated..compare him to suarez who is the complete oppositeOriginally posted by Shaggy View PostI agree but even the basics were missing last night. Couldn't trap the simplest of balls. There is a beast in there somewhere but he needs a lot of work.

I think he's always going to be clumsy and mis-control the odd ball, but I'm still strangely hopeful for him.
I think once he gets a few goals, and his confidence increases he will become the unplayable beast we all hoped he'd be.
We all need to have some patience with Andy I think. Ironically I think Suarez coming and instantly being a golden, golden God of football
has hampered Andy somewhat. He must feel totally **** next to him
.
As some of you have mentioned, he knows it too, and he's clearly keen to make things right
Not every player settles right away, but there's a player in there somewhere!

Carroll looked shattered last night, his touch was horrendus too at times.
He seems so slow and heavy legged but I'll put that down to fitness, he's just such a big lad isn't he he's massive!
He defo needs to work on his fitness and touch but he has a cracking left foot on him.
He also needs to be a bit stronger and stop going to ground so easily too. Goes down way too easily for such a big man he should be smashing defenders off the pitch considering his size.Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.

Don't think it's anything to do with desire, he does try hard. It's more to do with ability (or lack of). He's got some tremendous physical assets (Originally posted by Bender View Postnever suarez is the perfect example to show caroll up for what he is at the moment and what he should aspire to be
) which should be exploited to the full and I'm not talking about his heading and hoofing up the ball to him. As soon as he came onto the pitch last night we started lumping the ball, compared to the tippy tappy **** we graced St. James Park with for the first 20 minutes.
Are we winning?

I love the following expression, one of the best.Originally posted by DeanoUK View PostI am even more worried after seeing his performance last night. Good goal, but he had real trouble with his first touch/'trapping' (as said above) a pass.
Can only hope he'll improve.

:bird:.
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.
