    Was very good yesterday but one or two decent displays doesn't change his overall horrendousness (that's a word )

    I want us to sell Downing so bad BUT only if we replace him with someone better.... which shouldn't really be too hard. Anyways hopefully he continues decent displays and his transfer fee boosts. Win win for LFC

                Wonder why he put his finger up to his lips after his goal. If it was a slight at his critics then he has a cheek. Still,the pass for sg was superb. Just goes to show you can succeed if u bother your ass.

                      It might be his regular goal celebration. Unfortunately there is insufficient existing evidence which would support or refute this theory.

                                For those who think he's turned a corner and has some sort of a future here I'd say he's upping his game to generate interest from potential buyers. It's no coincidence IMO that his best performance for us yesterday came a few days after the club told him he can leave.
