Growing up I loved watching Zola.

Right now, De Bruyne is sublime! Can't believe how much he has kicked on since leaving Chelsea, he's fast on his way to the top and I can see someone breaking the bank for him if not this summer then next.

De Bruyne is having an unbelievable season (numbers-wise - I haven't seen him play) having looked so, so average for Chelsea.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

He looks a completely different player, running games week in week out at the moment. Like you say though he looked average at Chelsea he couldn't even control a ball a times!

                        Michael Laudrup
                        Fernando Hierro
                        Pavel Nedved
                        Andoni Goikoetxea

My British or UK based favourites from back then would have been

                        Les Ferdinand
                        Neville Southall
                        Des Walker
                        Matthew Le Tissier
Ferdinand & Le Tissier are good calls that I liked too.

As are Di Canio, Zola, Zidane & Gascoine.

I can't believe no one has mentioned Ronaldinho yet.

Watching arsenal just now on tele reminded me of their teams of past that Ive been impressed with.

Bergkamp & Overmars to name just 2 of that era. Piers at times but he was a diving twit too.

Not who I think are the best necessarily, more the ones I enjoyed watching.

                                Buffon
                                Cafu Baresi Nesta Maldini
                                Cocu Xavi
                                Overmars Zidane Nedved
                                Romario

Subs: Chilavert, Thuram, Desailly, Seedorf, Figo, Bergkamp, Batistuta
