I just feel sorry for all those people who made the effort and spent thousands of pounds on tickets and travel and then had a nightmare being gassed and mising the game, instead of one of the most memorable nights of their life.

****ing right storming gates is out of order, a few lads bunking in, is fair game for me. i realise that im not going to be the most popular person on here with that view but i wish people would stick to that view instead of trying to say i condone all the other acts of thuggery"People from Liverpool have got something about them and, if they’re not happy about something, they let people know.”

Fair enough Tommy, but you were giving that impression that you condoned it. Obviously misinterpreted it
For the record, I think it was a bigger problem (i.e. numbers of people, causing crushes) than you thought, judging by the current reports on arrests/no. of people in the ground, people admitting to it! etc. etc.Quote of the year :

I agree with what you're saying, and have a good insight into the scouse mentality from my own upbringing and working with kids and young adults in Liverpool. It's just a fine line between something that's right on and bang on. And let's face it, we are more hard faced than most other team's supporters. So we're bound to confuse 'normal' fans with our less than conventional approach to entering grounds or paying for clothes and food on away games.Originally posted by SCOUSERTOMMY View Postno mate, if he is not gonna **** off out of my seat to do what he has to do, then i will get a steward. im not getting kicked out for ****ting himup your bum

our history tells us to be very skeptical of the blame game from the police and football associations, not saying our fans are ****ing angels either"People from Liverpool have got something about them and, if they’re not happy about something, they let people know.”

To be honest, this whole Final has been a right pain in the arse.
First we had the tickets fiasco and the debates around that.
Then we had touts ripping us off.
Then we have fans getting gassed.
Then some fans ticket snatching.
Then some fans with legit tickets locked out.
Then a return to the arguments on here.
Plus we got ****ing beat.
It seems that all that reaching this final has done has turned us against each other

Tommy, that was my feeling too, and why I was frustrated that people were rushing to judgement based on what UEFA's chief propagandist was saying.Originally posted by SCOUSERTOMMY View Postour history tells us to be very skeptical of the blame game from the police and football associations, not saying our fans are ****ing angels either
I wanted to hear what our own forum people had to say on it.
From what they've said it was a typical UEFA shambles, and on top of that, that we appear to have had a sinister element amongst our support base that made many Reds feel scared of a small minority of their fellow supporters.
I still feel that the ticketing allocation has basically turned this into a free for all. If you create a free for all then the worst elements will have the most confidence that they can do well out of it.
Then to add insult to injury, it looks like the whole thing was an absolute mess when it came to checking tickets and running the event.
UEFA need their arses kicking.
I'd personally say they're not fit for purpose.

agreed - a lot of this was predictable by those of us who live in the real world'Of course I didn't take my wife to see Rochdale as an anniversary present.
It was her birthday.
Would I have got married during the football season ?
Anyway, it was Rochdale reserves.'

FAO ScouserTommy: you're talking out of your ass mr.
You DON'T have a ticket... you DON'T get in, end of story. Well it should have been. As Gaylord said on SSN earlier fans with genuine tickets didn't get into the stadium as a result of those brainless ****s without tickets attempting to gain entry into the stadium. Foul c u n t s the lot of them"Let me say for the record, I am not a gangster and never have been. Im not the thief who grabs your purse. Im not the guy who jacks your car. Im not down with the people who steal and hurt others. Im just a brother who fight back."

As is always the case the blame lies with all parties involved. By all accounts the greeks were kak. Many (supposed) LFC fans acted like hooligans. UEFA we're obviously lobotomized at an early age. May they all rot in hell.Originally posted by SCOUSERTOMMY View Postonce again another fool speaks without thinking, and people who unsuspectingly bought forged tickets? stick to drunk stories mate and breaking up with some bimbo, your much better off
