Hard to work out who's a fringe player and who isn't with Rafa's rotation. I reckon we need to bin one of our strikers and bring another class striker in. Don't know who that's going to be, Huntelaar or Villa?
Also we need another back up centre half, what happened to that Chiellini fella?
Finally, we need a right winger- Quaresma perhaps.

I'd also play Leto more often than he is at the moment.

No idea what you're on about really CAD, but that post is ****ing funny nonetheless

As for the rest of this thread......

Can't you lot give a mod some peace to mess with people's avatars and other random stuff without kicking off for just one weekend?

Aguero could be the man, Torres and him would be brill again

        Doubt it though

If we got Villa up front with Torres it would be the best strike partnership in club football in the world
Contrary to popular belief, I have huge genitals.

Eto'o wouldn't be a bad buy although he goes to the African Nations during the season which is a massive negative

Etoo is crocked for 2/3 months every season and then you've got the fact of the african nations aswell. Villa and Torres are lethal for Spain and a partnership week in week out for club and country is amazing to think of. Just remember Raul and Morientes when they were playing every week for Real and Spain

Heskey and Owen was fairly decent lad. Then Heskey played left wing for so long and it never recovered

Not a ****ing chance of it

Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

                      * After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

Twas ok, not the best. Heskey was shifted all over the joint for a bit. Baros played with Heskey, Heskey was dropped at times. It became a joke

Perhaps im reading the wrong posts but i havent seen anyone call for Rafas head.

He needs to be given more time. This is the first time he's been able to buy top quality players, so obviously it will take time to build a squad with the quality that the Mancs and Chelsea have been able to build given their financial clout.
Torres aside, what top quality are you talking about? Hes bought youth and potential, and squad players, thats all. Hes not building a squad, hes already built it, all he done this season is add 2-3 players, not starting from scratch.

If we end up miles behind this season (which i dont think we will) then his methods and approach will need to be questioned and I think he will be in serious jeopardy. but if we are close but don't actually win it, he deserves more time. We are behind the likes of Man U and Chelsea in terms of the development of our squad/team - there's no denying that. What we need to see this season is that we are making up ground on them and going in the right direction.
If we continue to approach games like Birmingham in the same way (and theres no reason to suggest we wont) then this seasons offering will be no different to the others - that being that we will be 3rd at best and way off the pace.
Rafa seems unable or unwilling to let the side gather any momentum whatsoever, every time we seem to be getting a head of steam then 5-6 changes are made and quite frankly ive had enough of it.

If you've lost your faith in love and music the end won't be long
