I just think we should all chill out seriously though and take everything with a pinch of salt. We'll see what pans out. If Rafa is happy at the moment, then it will do it for me.
There's been sniping at though, as if questioning his reputation. He could be a tad sensitive but I can understand him being fed up when he's been genuinely passing on what he heard.
NO
hes been alluding relatively nonspecifically to things hes heard and presenting it in a form entitled "no melodrama...weve lost our club". hed have to be pretty ****ing naive not to expect a response
We would have signed Heinze had United not blocked the sale. That can be added to the figure.
Not really because that would most likely have meant that another player would have been sold. Like Momo or Carson. It certainly looks like it now doesn't it?! I mean in 20/20 hindsight.
We were somewhere around Barstow on the edge of the desert when the drugs began to take hold.
I think the biggest problem for us has been the slump in the US market, but that will no doubt pick up in time, it's always swings and roundabouts with regards to the strength of the dollar to the strength of the pound or the Euro..
I would say that my advice to other LFC fans would be to remain calm and see what happens in the near future. After all, whether we like or not, the yanks are here to stay and they are the only ones who can decide what they do with the club.

Most likely? There was nothing of the sort the suggest that would happen. They may well be sold anyway this window though. But there was no suggestion of Rafa having to sell to buy Heinze. If I remember correctly, it was very late in the window too.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'
"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.
* After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs
Have to say I'm less than impressed by the drama-queen nature of this thread. "We're forked, no Masher" is the gist of it.
For what it is worth tho, there is a (significant) difference in the money we would need to spend to be champions & the money we would need to spend to remain in the top4 of the league. I dont think it is unreasonable to expect that the septics might think it is just not worth ploughing in that extra amount when we can stay 4th & them cream off money from us anyway. The extra input might well not be worth what it yields.

If people start threads alluding to the fact that we've lost our club, given the fact that LFC plays a HUGE part in our lives of course Tom's going to get a response. Why would anyone expect anything different?? It's a pretty f**king sensitive subject if you ask me, given we're all fanatical about LFC.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.
