Another concern i would have would be the instant success approach the voting scheme would have.
Like you see with the Real president elections you get all this fanfare and promises of new managers and players. Any slight sign of a poor run would force the current President into sacking the manager to save his own bacon. They are alot of details that need setting out for it to become workable and not turn us into a Madrid

I worry about the team and the manager. They're both **** at present. I'd rather Rafa left first.

The problem now is that , in my mind, the club needs a period of stability more than anything else. We are all hoping that over the next few months things settle down and the focus returns to what is happening on the pitch. The season still has a way to go .

I am not going to blame the owners for the poor perfomances on the pitch, the players have to accept responsibility for that.

A: Will Rogan get 100,000 fans to cough up?
B: Just what numbers can we expect to see from the various parts of the World. Just how many Skandos, Irish lads, Yanks etc are actually out there?
Thinking about it 100,000 suddenly doesn't sound as many as it first did once you break it down. How many can we expect to come from the city itself? I think the results may surprise a few. I've already spoke to about a dozen mates who are defo in! I know one fella who's minted and who I know will buy a share for himself aswell as his two lads. Take the Skando lads. Am I right in thinking that five grand is a lot less to them than your average Scouser? You know cost of living in Finland, Sweden etc. Or is that a myth. Thoughts please.

Yeah, 2 European Cups and countless domestic trophies... plus second rate players like Eto'o, Ronaldinho & Messi, yeah it's all been downhill

Does noone get the "the fans" wouldn't RUN the club, they'd merely be OWNERS. A big difference. I own parts of companies but I don't run them (Not last time I checked anyway).

You won't be see Bill the binman or Ted the teacher deciding between 442, 433 or the next £20m signing. That would be done be professionals.

I think its a great idea. Only question would be the ammount of cash that could be raised year after year for transfers - would we need to rely on 'rich presedential candidates' or would it just depend on the profit the club makes in a year.

If it could make us competitive with the Utd's and the Chelsea's then Id be all for it

The number involved makes the finances very workable.

If £500m isn't near enough to buy in and make a significant start to the stadium what chance do we have of building it with Gillette & Hicks? This is new money coming in - anything more than the purchase price goes to the stadium and the saving on interest is massive. Apparently the alternative is the whole stadium cost and £60m of Hicks/Gillette debt being borrowed by the club - that makes this idea sound a cast iron business plan.
