apart from the mini derby or the man u game, who watches the ressies as if its a proper game?

the ressies are for youngsters coming through or first teamers getting fit. much like a pre season game, anyone watching it demanding results in the way one would when watching a first team game is missing the point.

besides, they take place in warrington at 7pm midweek and very haphazardly. recently there was 5 weeks before one game and the next.

why start a club on the basis of the ownership issue given that all the papers reckon that'll be sorted this summer anyhow. it'd be crazy.

if you don't like the idea then fair do's. but at least disagree with it based on things that are relevant to it. the ownership issue isn't relevant at all.

Rafa said himself that the reserve team needs to play at a higher level because its not working. Everyone gets bored after 10 minutes of reserve football and in no way does it give anyone the excitement or passion of supporting a team with something to play for.

I'm seriously baffled by that post. Have you got any evidence to support your suggestion the pro-LFC stance is just an act/marketing ploy, or are you just aimlessly mudslinging? I suggest you go back and read the threads on this forum where you can see how/why the idea formed in Alun's mind, because you're doing him and AFC Liverpool a massive disservice painting them the way you are.

Nope, I dont watch them cos they bore me cos half of the players dont try properly. I'll start of with good intentions like when the first pre season comes on the telly then after a while I get bored. Probably why Rafa thinks the set up is **** and the reserve teams should play in proper leagues.

I watched them against Prescot Cables and Marine in the Liverpool senior cup. They were out classed by both teams because they didnt care. There is no competition in the reserve leagues, not properly. Not my words, the words of Rafa Benitez.
