If you want to challenge for the title or at least top 4 we should be looking to sign at least one or two world class players.

Sure they cost money from transfer fee to high wages but those things go hand in hand as they are top notch fottballers.

Even if we cannot sign the "cream of the crop" as our approach "Value for money" seems to be to go after young talented players than we should be doing everything we can to sign Hazards, Goetzes, Neymars of this world cause looking for some bargain buys in hopes of finding the world beater like Suarez doesn't work 9 out of 10 times.

The bottom line is, if we want to be again one of the football finest clubs we will need to modify our approach and go after the best.

I don't us to be Cityh or anything like it but I do want us to have 3-5 game changers that can influence the game outcome on any day.

Well maybe they had a point, cause winning the league any year is far harder. Winning the league is the bigger achievement & always will be.

05 was great but a European cup win will never mean as much as Kenny's league titles, never.

I remember plenty of periods under Rafa when we had dour draws (and even loses) at Anfield to weaker teams in October/November. People who reacted to those results with these sorts of threads were rightly castigated. I see no reason to treat this one differently.

i'm not calling for kenny's head at all. i hope we dip into the market in january and the team really comes good with kenny at the helm.

His agent (his father) said he'd only move to a club playing in the champions league, complete no goer again I'm afraid.

I think half the problem our signings is having with fans is so many expected your world class players to be signing for a club that isn't even in Europe and wouldn't be challenging for the league this year. Neither can we offer big big wages like both manc clubs & chelsea.
