Who says most fans 'expected' to be 4th? I didnt. Most i know didnt. We hoped to be 4th and we had it as our target, but what right do we have to 'expect' it? Man Utd are lightyears ahead, City have spent about £400m, ditto Chelsea and Spurs have had their manager working on their project for a few years, with good backing from above. Even Arsenal were well ahead of us at Kenny's starting point.

So why should we 'expect' to be above any of them exactly?

That's the problem, people think they have the right to 'expect' and think we have a divine right to be there. We dont. We have to work on it and from where Kenny started, it takes time.

Out of interest, if you dont want him to get the boot, why dont you?

I never said that, I just think he got the summers transfer badly wrong, he deserves the opportunity to have another season though.

It is not Craig's black and white world though. Ambiguity does exist.

However, we are not that far away from 4th. Had we had a RVP in our team we would be well up there

4th was considered a reasonable target at the start of the season. Better signings and it would have been achievable.

I doubt anyone would have considered 7th a good enough finish (yes I realise that might not be where we end up, but it is where we are now).

If you don't believe he's the right man fair enough, but I think he'll make the necessary improvements. It's not just about the manager though, there are quite a few players not putting the effort in.

We are further away than that sadly.

I dont buy into that gloom and doom.

We create a lot of chances, however, we do not convert them

So do you have faith in him as the right man?

                    That's ok, I don't buy into oversimplification.

I feel he deserves the opportunity to sort the problems out.

Nice try. I do believe he's the right man. You're the one moaning and whinging every ****ing game. Even after you, ridiculously, didnt even watch the whole game

Nope, I just don't know if he is the right man.

That's fair enough. What is the desire to give him more time based on?

I feel every manager who doesn't take us into the bottom 3 deserves an opportunity to fix the problems with our team rather than having just one season.

I am unsure of how patient FSG will be though.
