    Yes, all of them.

It's little wonder the club don't engage with you guys.

I take it the increases don't or wouldn't impact on a fair number on here then ?

That's why I mentioned a poll / survey might be the best way to see who attends all . Who attends some and who doesn't or can't attend any games . That's give us some perspective on the posters differing standpoints .
What's it got to do with who goes to what games? It's a discussion on the economics of football.
      *Except Michael, who died.

It's who with Alex . I'm not saying there's any martians on here but it'd be nice to get a profile of who were all talking too

It's your poll man. I don't have any. Neil's good with this stuff. Maybe he can help you define your objectives and all of that.

Are only people who attend games allowed to have an opinion on this? Because that's the impression I'm getting.

I think that those who do, should have a greater opinion on this to those that don't. Its easier to argue that higher ticket prices are okay if you don't go to the game as its not affecting your pocket.
I don't agree with SOS on many things but ticket price hikes on the back of a bumper TV deal doesn't sit right for me.
I make no apologies, this is me

It's all about maximising income to give the club more to invest in players and stadium. Which, if done properly, increases income further with 2 main benefits: success on the pitch and the club being worth more as an asset. The former is what the fans want and the latter why FSG what. Sounds to me like our interests are aligned. Well well, who'd have think it...

If the club put up the prices too high and people -SOS perhaps- protest by non attendance, then sales should drop and there are empty seats. Thus indicating prices are too high given the demand.

If sales don't drop then prices are either correct or, shudder, too cheap...

LIVERPOOL FC supporters union Spirit of Shankly are to meet with LFC Managing Director Ian Ayre to discuss rising season ticket prices at Anfield.

After the club revealed that a six-tier system is to be brought in next season, which will see season ticket prices in some areas of the ground increase by £80 while other fans will actually pay £15 less, the fans group branded the increases "an insult to long-standing supporters".

They have now confirmed that they will be meeting with the club next week, saying in a statement on their website, "We stand by our original statement.

"We believe supporters, with the implementation of these prices and lack of adequate or proper consultation around this matter, are being forced into a corner of paying up or having to give up something valuable to them.

"As a result, we have spoken with LFC officials about our concerns and a delegation from the Union's Management Committee will meet with LFC Managing Director Ian Ayre next Tuesday. At this meeting we will raise the concerns and questions from our members about the ticket price changes and seek answers from the club."

                              Champions League monies
                              Tv Deals

That's a fair point - but look at the ratio of player wages to turnover and then you might start to grasp that the major reason you're complaining about ticket prices going up is because it is needed to continue to fund the talent at the club.

I doubt you'd find a single person on Est that thinks players' wages are acceptable but the mechanism for this to change doesn't lie within an individual club, nor even an individual FA.

Having a season ticket at any premiership club is an expensive privilege. But it's a luxury.
