Why don't you start a poll merlboo?
As for the "massive 716 per cent price rise since 1989" for ticket prices, have you compared this to:
a) wage inflation in football
b) the average increase in ticket prices in the top league for the same period
c) a club by club increase in tickets in the top league for the same period
I'm kinda guessing not. Just a guess, mind.Oh I don't know.

Have you done a poll or survey ?
2. Is anyone aware of the £5 kids ticket restrictions ?
A kid can only get a said ticket accompanied with a full paying adult in the Anfield Rd if I'm not mistaken . Take our Blue neighbours . Kids can go to their Ticket Office and purchase for games along with their teenage mates in a number of areas of the ground .
3. No mention of the TV deals later in the year which will see clubs being able to cut prices rather than raise them due to the value of the money poured in from them .
4. Why won't the Chairman Tom Werner speak to an elected body of Liverpool Supporters instead of those on the appointed Supporters Committee . Are the Supporters Committee being used by Mr Ayre as being consulted meaning they where in "full agreement" with the implementations . Where is the "Supporters Committee "statement" ratifying Mr Ayre's comments ?
5. And lastly , surely the 716% hikes since 1989 don't fall in line with Inflation so are we not right to ask why ?
This stance falls in line with our away ticket campaign which started with the "£62 Rip Off" posters at Arsenal .
We'd be hypocritical if we never challenged Friday's Club Statement .

That's a good point but not necessarily the most pertinent . Liverpool FC has put the prices up over this period and that's what we are challenging . That's all we can influence along with our current away campaign with the banners , posters and leafletting for which we've been conducting recently.Originally posted by elrichio86 View PostThis 716% hike since 1989. If other club's along with the FSF conduct their own case studies and present the evidence then we'd hope they'd do that . There is a National Campaign under the FSF banner ("Twenty's plenty") now ongoing and other supporter groups should be encouraged to engage there clubs and the wider authorities including the Premier League politicians and sponsors for cheaper tickets .
As has been previously mentioned . If Germany can make the game more affordable , why can't we ?

I think it's well documented on here at least that most people don't feel that SOS represent them adequately, and that they have an unfortunate way of using language. The word 'insult' is neither appropriate nor constructive. But yet, they wonder why the club won't speak to them individually rather than the broad committe they have already gathered (at which I believe SOS have a seat - correct me if I'm wrong).Originally posted by Tee View Post

I might be wrong but I seem to remember CJ speaking very loudly against SOS.
Ah mate, I don't think anyone here is particularly hostile or venomous towards SOS.Originally posted by Tee View Post

Their intentions are fine, but I think a lot of people don't really like the way that they seem to speak for all LFC fans. I also find them to have quite an aggressive approach.
Just my onion, of course.

Nobody else does, we spend our time complaining on Interweb forums.

Fair enough, but they never have claimed to speak for everyone as far as I know. And isn't it slightly reassuring that at least their is a body who is looking out for the average fan? I think it is.Originally posted by Lee View PostAh mate, I don't think anyone here is particularly hostile or venomous towards SOS.

I find their presence a positive and if it was not for their relentless efforts to save the club from Hicks and Gillett who knows where the club would be now.
We all have onions mate, and I respect yours, even if it brings tears to my eyes.

Again , we have only conducted case studies into what our club has implemented over this 24 year period .Originally posted by dom9 View PostWhy don't you start a poll merlboo?

Along with the FSF and their affiliated fan organisations , politicians , Premier League and the relevant sponsors , this campaign is in it's infancy .
We can't adopt a stance of saying they or them have gone up more than us by lets say 800% for instance . That's a surefire racer to the bottom and will achieve nothing .
Look at the Kop and the price freeze there . It's a classic Divide and Conquer manouvere for me . I think the angle there was that'll keep the kopites
quiet . They won't be that bothered that his mates will have to stump up the extra £80 in the ageing Main Stand because of the "I'm alright Jack" mindset in a lot of today's society .
If that was the idea behind it then they've got us all wrong
