He played well yeah. Said it before but he must be the best 4th choice CB in the league. He's erratic as we all know but very capable, and I'm delighted to have him as 4th choice.

Didn't see any of the game saturday but by all accounts he had a solid game.

Fair play to come in and play well when he's hardly featured. I'm not his biggest fan and have been critical but it's only fair to give praise when deserved.

November to the 1st of January is going to be a gruelling schedule. Once CL, league cup, World thing thing are added to the mix.

Unpopular opinion but other than the really big games. Id be happy to see Vvd/Lovren and Matip/Gomez as pairings to keep everyone fresh. One of them will be injured by then making this all redundant.
