He was still better than Allen yet he was the one subbed at half time!

I though he did alright, was our most composed midfielder on the ball, even though he had a few wayward passes and got stuck in aswell although maybe missed a few tackles too.

I think he was taken off before Allen because BR knew he didn't have many minutes left in him in the second half, so subbing Allen at half time would have meant wasting another sub before 60 mins taking Lucas off, leaving us only 1 attacking change.

That was very encouraging, he's got a massive role in the next few weeks v Cazorla, Silva etc so today was good to see.
