Maybe so but I would trade all three for one decent one.Originally posted by little dave hedgehog View Postwe sell insua, we have no left backs. we started last season with 3!
There was no point keeping Auelio because he was injured too much to be either first choice or decent backup.
If we sell Insua we may be able to afford someone good. Or at least good-ish.

I am more worried about this part of the article which I hope is not true.
"Roy Hodgson is believed to have no say in the deal as talks began with Palermo before he was appointed as manager and Christian Purslow is heading the talks.
Hodgson isn’t keen on losing the Brazilian, who started in 32 of 38 Premier League games last season, but is unable to influence discussions which are already in an advanced stage."
If the manager sees a role for Lucas or Insua in the squad, they should not be sold.

I am also getting worried about this if true. If Roy has no say in who gets sold and cannot keep who he wants why would we be expecting that he will be involved in who will be purchased....Very sad state of affairs if Purslow is doing all this on his own..Depressing...Originally posted by peekay View PostI am more worried about this part of the article which I hope is not true.

It is simply undermining Hodgeson before he has even begun, Purselow is scum.

The disturbing thought, in this case, is not so much who is leaving but who is apparently making decisions on who stays and who goes.
If Roy is not involved in the buy and sell process we really should be concerned (it's not like we were not worried already) for the next season...Member #1 of the Luis Suarez fan club

The problem with losing Insua is that we have no one to replace him. I personally think Lucas is a very good younger player and I think he would be a loss.Originally posted by DannyMan2006 View PostI'm sorry to everyone, but you will have to excuse me at not losing sleep over the prospect of Insua and Lucas leaving,
