      Really I feel we should use the more information rich:

      E = sqrt( (m0 c^2)^2 + (p c)^2 ) ,

      with m0 being the rest mass and p the Euclidian norm of the momentum vectors of the system, as you would expect.

          With a follow-up like that it's not that surprising Big Audio Dynamite were one hit wonders.
          .
          Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

          May the Lord bless this post.

                I think judging by our results this year it's hard to say anyone has improved their ge or is having a good season.

                The only thing I've been able to tell thus far is that some players definitely aren't good enough (poulsen, konchesky) and some maybe good enough (Soto, Lucas, Meireles). Add those to the players we have already seen over an extended period of time and have made little strides forward this term.

                Focusing more clearly on Lucas, I think the lad has talent but he needs to start being a player who takes charge. He maybe young but he should be experienced enough now.
                Forwards.......

                      As regards Lucas, people know my opinion of the lad already, i just feel that if LFC are thinking of once again challenging for titles and cups, players like Lucas in our starting 11 is not doing us any favors.

                      IF, and this is a big if, Lucas improves as a players further and wants to turn into a really good player, he "has to" impose himself on games more, he must do more. I know thats simplistic view but i've watched so many games were he's just bypassed and fades in and out of games.

                      At the moment he seems to me as kind of a jack of all trades, but nowhere near a master of any. Lucas has had 2 good games of the trot which is rare to say, praying he has a good one against Chelsea today but IMO he is only in the side as Poulsen has been that epically disastrous, and IMO if we get another DM in January Lucas will be used as a squaddie.

                      But he is our best option there at the moment and i suppose we have to hope that he maintains a decent level of form and we can push on.

                        I think that's a perfectly valid point about Lucas. He needs to start imposing himself on the game rather than reacting to events but I see mo reason why this shouldn't develop.

                          I think this is/was a valid point in terms of when he plays in a more advanced midfield role, now he seems to have taken a position that is a bit more like and auxiliary defender. I'm not sure he can really perform the role he is expected to in this formation and impose himself on a game in the way people seem to want him to do.

                          There is room for improvement but I think the best model for what he might develop in to is Busquets at Barcelona. They often seem to use him in a similar role, at times effectively becoming a 3rd CB but with the specific remit of moving the ball from defence into midfield. In the end I think such tactics will help us to deploy our fullbacks to give width more frequently (not that I think this will be massively productive in the case of Konchesky).
