I heard that Barnes guy was a decent player?

Barnes' wife went into labour on Sunday apparently but he still made it for a bit of punditry & watch our first half on Sky. According to gossips, he missed the birth of his child.

John Barnes says Roy Hodgson has proved he is the right man to take Liverpool forward following their impressive 2-0 victory over Chelsea.

It is truly amazing how Hodgson has somehow pulled the wool over the eyes of virtually the entire footballing community.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

His record, in the Premiership is a joke but he's constantly lauded as a good manager, the media/pundits seem more blind to his mistakes than to Martin O'Neills and I didn't think that was possible!
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

                        .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

completely agree, harmless comments that have once again been blown epically out of proportion, not everything is a witch hunt and not everyone has an agenda.

From what I've seen Lucas has gotten better press because he's playing in a less restrictive role than he did most of last season. Mascherano was the main man last year, most of the time, he would start the attacks, switch the play etc and Lucas would support either in defence or attack as appropriate.

This year the CMs have a more symmetrical relationship and it makes it easier for certain types to notice some of Lucas' strengths, which to be fair were there all along, if you remember him playing alongside Aquilani for example.
