His progress has been excellent and he seems to have a real good head on his shoulders.......would have broken many a man and sent them scampering back to Brazil.

I'll be honest, I'd have let him go last summer had a good enough offer come along.

What more can I say? The lad is pure football gold and was outstanding yesterday. I can count on one hand the number of bad games he's had and in each one I think the team has lost. Amazing how much we rely on him now.

He's not in Machs league yet, but **** that little Argie ****. Lucas is full of bottle and proud as **** to play for this club and it's an absoloute pleasure to have him at our club.

Before this season I admired him as a man for sticking it out in the face of mindless morons who booed him. Now I admire him as an integral part of this club.

More players of his mentality in the summer please Kenny.

I agree that he has improved his strength and ball retention under pressure.

One area he COULD improve upon, if we're to get picky, is his goal-getting return

To be fair to Craig to Craig he did go on to say that we shouldn't expect goals from Lucas when playing DM and I was the one saying he should be capable of at least chipping in with a few.
