classy little header in the build up to the free kick.....thought he was excellent again yesterday and I for one can gladly say I have changed my mund on him and think he really is a tidy little player.
His drive and desire to get us straight back into the game yesterday was immense. Should've been given a penalty just before when we got the FK on the edge of the box, and then of course the pen. Absolutely outstanding. He's a real leader these days and at £6m was a steal.

I was never one who said he was ****e, but did wonder if he could ever force his way into being a permanent fixture in the side. The loss of Mascherano has really helped him to stand out and also to stand up and be counted.
After seeing him break up play against the top sides this year, there is a question as to whether we actually need a new DM. I guess an extra one for competition for places will always help mind.
Lucas has improved dramatically under Kenny, was a steady performer last season but looks a man possessed under Kenny. Well done to the lad deserves all the plaudits he is getting.
I liked his style from the get go but he has improved a lot. The one thing that I think is a problem is that he can be very reactive. If we had someone beside him who looked to control the flow of the game I think he would be even more effective.
His work covering/supporting both fullbacks yesterday was superb.
