Sorry but being spat at & that wasn't like a cough or a teeny accidental spit, he spat a ****ing mouthful of it straight at the car, if any of us had someone do that to ourselves - doesn't matter who, how would you react ? The fact the other car was filming has nothing to do with this behaviour, he wasn't threatened , spat at first or anything like that. Was a fan of Carra but his position on TV I think is untenable. Silly silly boy

Without wanting to get too in the weeds. We dont know what came before that video, and we dont know how the guy was driving while filming. There is a whole load of stuff we dont know from the situationOriginally posted by swishtz View PostSorry but being spat at & that wasn't like a cough or a teeny accidental spit, he spat a ****ing mouthful of it straight at the car, if any of us had someone do that to ourselves - doesn't matter who, how would you react ? Sounds like it could go either way for him now (personally think he's history there even with his general popularity with the average punter......Will wait and see).....didn't expect him to on tonight in any case.
Scumbag behaviour regardless of the provocation.........Would be perfectly fine with him throwing the dig (At the man that is. Girl might be pushing it)"I will make the boys feel your support"

Irrelevant, I've had someone spit at my car before in road rage incidents, it's absolutely vile, illegal and bad behaviour. Also recall all the preaching when Diouf did these types of things . He decided to wind his window down rather than ignore them and spat through the open window of the other vehicle. So if he rammed them off the road too you'd justify that would you ? All he received was verbals which is part and parcel of what he would have dealt with as a player. He is wrong, he deserves to be sacked, nothing else really matters. The other guy filming is not relevant to Carragher's actions either.Originally posted by Alex View PostWithout wanting to get too in the weeds. Carragher will 'apologise again' for spitting incident
Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher says he will "apologise again" after a video showed him spitting towards a girl in a car from his own vehicle. What do you mean it could've been anyone? Name me one person who's got a grudge against penguins

First of all. Who is justifying what he did, and why are you trying to put words in my mouth. Clearly running someone off the road is on another planet to spitting.Originally posted by swishtz View PostIrrelevant, I've had someone spit at my car before in road rage incidents, it's absolutely vile, illegal and bad behaviour. He deserves to be sacked? What are you talking about? Its spit, not drink driving, not physical harm. Hes had a bit of road rage, spat at a car and then been caught out for it. Ive never done it personally, but I am sure I have done things that warrent me losing my job. Its just no one films them.
Deserves to be sacked.

You know what, trying to suggest I would justify him running someone off the road is the exact problem with the internet and social media. Its inflammatory crap trap that serves no purpose to extend the conversation and move it to something else.
Why cant we just have a sensible conversation about it, without making stuff up and putting words in someones mouth?*Except Michael, who died.

Honestly, because it adds emphasis and meaning to their otherwise rather bland point. Should he be punished? Yes, should he be suspended tonight? Yes, does it really merit sacking? I don't think so. Especially when you let drink driving go under the radar!Originally posted by Alex View PostYou know what, trying to suggest I would justify him running someone off the road is the exact problem with the internet and social media. It's a disgusting thing to do, without doubt. But people want to be offended by it, its like a trigger in the country and people harp back to "it's the worst thing you can do". Its used so much people don't even consider what they're saying.
If you offered most the choice between being spat at or stabbed/punched I'd bet the majority would change their opinion in a real life scenario.Vive la France

He was a knob, got caught. Got suspended and will probably lose a bit of money over it. But its done. He has said sorry.
Why people are so horny for him to be sacked ill never understand.*Except Michael, who died.
