Poor fella, this one is super unlucky.
That was a disgraceful comment indeed.

Yup, Johnson and Kelly can't seem to stay fit for more than ten games each. Add Aurelio on the left and Agger in the middle and it makes for depressing reading.

If those four could keep fit then there's no doubt in my mind that we'd have a much stronger defence (obviously). We can't settle and be consistant when we're constantly making two or three changes across the back line every week.

Funny how Agger gets battered for being injury prone but Gerrard is just unlucky.

Not having a dig in any way just that in this instance Agger has been really unlucky, unreleated to any previous injury, nothing he could have done about it and if he has broken 2 ribs then he put his life in danger playing on as another bad bang could have meant one of them puncturing a lung.
So much for his low pain threshold as well, broken ribs are right up there are the worst or the worst

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Wow!! Are you serious? Thats probably because until the last year or so Gerrard has constantly started 30 + league games in a season and 45 - 50 overall. Agger has never even managed 25 league starts and has only ever got over 30 starts in all comps once.

          Yeah fair enough, poor comparison.
The point I was trying to make is if Agger's injury was related or consistant with his previous ones he's still got a problem.
Maybe our new medical team have got to the bottom of his previous problems.
Gerrard has had at least 6 groin operations to date, that clearly shows a weakness that if not sorted with his latest one will only get worse as he gets older, more immobile and takes longer to recover
The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.

Really shocking and the fall looked so innocent...

So I was wrong, he's got broken ribs. He's always bloody injured though, if its not broken ribs its something else, a back strain or thigh strain...list many other ailments here.

Get shot, we need someone reliable at the back. You can't build a strong defensive partnership with someone who's **** and someone who's never fit, it will never work.

You weren't just wrong. It was an insult.
                .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Was a rock tonight. Wouldn't have went through without him, or at least nowhere near as comfortably.

                    Maybe, maybe not.

Carra did well, in the scope he plays. Solid until he could do nothing about it. Not his fault tonight. He's just a very limited player.

No maybe not about him. Somebody tonight would be getting wrote off by the kneejerk brigade if it wasn't for Carra.

Why act like it's difficult to praise a player for playing well?

                          Very solid game tonight.

Maybe he had a good game but its bollocks to say we wouldn't have gone through without him.

He covered for Coates on more than one occasion and was rock solid overall.

His only error was conceding the penalty kick but I wouldn't blame him for it.

Would Danny Wilson have come in & put a game in as good as that? Bailing the rest of the defence. Spearing & Lucas out countless times. I suppose it's possible, doubtful though. Vintage Carra tonight, excellent display.
