Erm, who gave Welbeck a free header, allowing him to glance the ball across the goal?

Carragher was also responsible for Ferdinand not getting sent off. He's a disgrace.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

If the roles were reversed and it was Skrtel who lost Welbeck and Carra was the one who slipped and lost Hernandez you can be sure 100% that Carra would have got straight up pointing and bollocking Skrtel for losing the first ball.

Some call it experience, others call it self preservation

Maybe Skrtel should grow a set then. Or do you want Carra to shout at himself?

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

both could have done better with the goal but fair play to United for getting there first both times.

they scored from what I can remember as being their only decent real chance

Maybe if a better player than Jones had that header in the 1st half although you would be hard pressed to find a better player because a mere mortal probably wouldn't of even got to it never mind directed it back towards goal

Who gives a **** how many players are black, white or anything else? I couldn't give a **** if we had 11 eskimos in the first team. It's totally unimportant what the racial make-up of the team is. What matters is the ability they have and that they're worthy of wearing the red shirt

In fairness he didn't have anything to do as Man U rarely crossed the halfway line. Can't remember a game against them where they looked less likely to even threaten our goal

try removing your head from your arse and watching the game again. he made a number of telling interceptions. if you're going criticise the bloke at least watch the game.

Well what's the verdict so far anyway, after 11 pages and 614 posts, has the 'Carragher myth' been 'dispelled' ?
