Meireles is hardly unwanted here. We basically are planning to play a 3 man midfield and Gerrard/Lucas/Raul are primo. Henderson/Adam to cover for them.

I agree with the point on Inter. I wouldn't take any of the players from Inter that have been mentioned.

Something that we all saw in his game since Kenny took over that we haven't seen earlier in the season.

Simple one touch passes and moving into the box unmarked. Can put in a decent cross into the box as well and has decent vision to keep the game ticking.

He’s a very good player that along with Maxi and Kuyt worked extremely well with Suarez. It’s amazing the many posters on here that see no value in that and just want to clear them all out for the players they sign on FM.

But I reckon he will be competing with Gerrard (attacking midfield/in the hole) for a place in the team next season. Who let's face it will be automatic 1st choice when fit. So I wonder how many games he'll get next season? esp with no european footie.

Hmmmmm. His passing accuracy is ****e. Sounds like what Gerrard does and Gerrard racks up a hell of a lot more goals, assists and completes more tackles. Gerrard > Meireles.

Sell him for £14m while his stock is high. I can't see him getting very many games this forthcoming season and come the end of next season, he won't even be worth half that.

If inter offered Chivu andDiego Milito I'd be very tempted. Chivu is better than any Lb we have and is also a solid CB.

Milito would be a top class option to have for upfront.

Both getting on, but Raul isn't young either. But I'd rather take Santon and Coutinho of course

Milito is like 32 years old now! Chivu is 31 this year. That is a horrible deal.
