For the right price he'd be worth bringing back, I mean the lad was simply out of this world for us for a while.

He was a complete and utter bellend with how he left us but if he apologised and got his head down and started taking a few of the chances we should have put away this season I am pretty sure most fans would forgive but maybe not forget.

Unlikely,........that would imply he was getting on the pitch

On loan until the end of the season, with a view to paying the £20m then? Yeah okay

£20m in January? Seems a large amount to gamble on him regaining his form.

While I think it would work, I suspect there is approximately 0% chance of either side wanting to bring Torres back to LFC. I think this is one we should just move on from.

I'd welcome him back with open arms.

I think he'd give us such a lift. Sorry but Fernando Torres is a LFC legend and, even though it couldn't happen to a better club like Chelsea, it's still sad to see him like this.

PSG would be his most likely destination, especially if Rafa goes there.

Im sure ive said it before but I loved Torres whilst he was here, was utterly crushed by his leaving..worst ive ever felt by losing a player definitely, & I personally would love him back.

But it would be for all of the wrong reasons.

Its just sentiment, id be hoping we would get the Torres of old back whereas we would be getting this new, pretty average Torres. With baggage.

As a fan I say sign him up! As a manager/owner I would say no chance, it just doesnt make sense both from a football sense (hes mediocre with no real reason to think he can reclaim his form) & financially (Shirt sales surely wouldnt be fantastic given his history plus his wage is no doubt astronomical).

Sorry Fernando, I still love you a little but theres no coming back from this.

I wish you all the best in France/Spain

The guy behind him isnt exactly ecstatic either.

Rush, Barnes and Kenny are LFC legends. Torres is nowhere near.

I'd take him back but for no more than £10 million. In his current form, and the form he's been in for a whole year, he isn't worth more. Previous form is irrelevant otherwise Owen would still be worth £25 million.

For a striker who is 28, can't get in the team and has scored 4 goals in 12 months, £20mill is far too much.

He may have lost a little pace, but have a quick look through his goals the vast majority were based on his movement, not pace to score. If he got his mojo back he could be devastating again imo
