i watched the barca game last night but followed the chelsea game on the commentary on the sky sports app..
It sounded like torres had a stinker first half, missed a few chances, gave the ball away, was quite ineffective - apparently sturridge was playing a blinder.
Then anelka came on for sturridge, and apparently anelka, played quailty too...
However - torres got 2 assists
whoopy de ****ing do....
1st assist - well...yeah he lays it off, but it's a bog standard lay off and all the credit has to go to luiz, because it's a stunning finish
2nd assist.....
torres can **** off with that one.....plain and simple, his ****ing arse went in front of goal, one on one with the keeper 5 yards out 
- he bottled it....there is no chance on earth he'd ever have squared that playing for liverpool - he is in on goal, keeper is all over the place, he should be burying that....he panicked and took the easier option to square it inside....

The angle wasn't all that kind for a shot but as he's so desperate to score and it was the last minute, it showed great presence of mind and awareness to lay it on a plate for Mata. he's in, he's fernando torres, he cost £50m, it's last minute of a game thats been won, and he's in on a keeper who has come out and commited, tight angle or not he could of bent round to the far corner, slotted it through the keepers legs or walked past the keeper and rolled it home near post

Apparently after the match last night in the dressing room, he downed an entire bottle Lucozade sport, cushioned it gently with his chest, knee'd it softly, then caught it sweetly on the half-volley. The ball sailed through a crowded dressing room, bounced off the wall, and nestled majestically into the bin to rapturous applause from the entire Chelsea squad and backroom staff
Then he burped crudely and David Luiz literally pissed himself laughing.Comment

There's no argument IMO because it ended up a goal - making it the right thing to do. Had he shot he could've blazed over, wide, keeper could've saved it. As it was he rolled it to a fella who had an open goal and a far easier chance than he had. Goal = right choice.
