The great thing about Milner, is even when he is out of form he works his bollocks off so he still impacts the game.

When he is in form like he was today it is brilliant. He gets around the pitch so well and times some of his passes so well, which isn't appreciated enough in my point of view.

dont know if its just taken a while for the lingering smell of rodgers to finally evaporate or its taken a while for klopp to work his magic, but several 'must sell' players [milner, allen, toure, lovren]seemed to have started actually turning up for games and now some of them are looking very decent.

some huge improvements since Klopp has come in.

Merely stating that someone is fifth best at something is not a statistic.

Statistics themselves don't lie. They state a fact based on a predetermined criteria. How those statistics are framed within a wider argument may be open to question, but the statistics themselves should not, within their own narrow measure or remit.
