Unfortunatley the moment Allen is in the team it will again disrutp the rythm and movement of the team

Hopefully Hendo's recent performances have proven that HE should be the starter and Allen has to earn a place.

Jordie was excellent vs Norwich. Was saying like most on here that he should be in ahead of Allen and was good decision by Rogers to do. Credit where credit is due his best performance for LFC thus far. Still of the opinion we need better than him and Allen, but they can be valuable squad players for us. And still long way away from changing my opinion of him, great performance though it has to be said.

Downing i'm not so sure about although he hasn't been as dreadful of late

I don't think we do, Henderson playing consistently at his top level would be good enough for any of the top 4. I saw him live a few times with Sunderland and specifically a game against a top 4 ( Chelsea) he bossed and ran that midfield against a top team. He has all the talent needed, He just needs to bring it week in, week out.

That is a bold statement mate...a very bold statement.

I'm all for his improvement and he was excellent vs Norwich, whatever is good for LFC is fine by me but he has a long way to go before i'd say something like that.

A couple of my mates are Mackems, So i have been to a few games and seen him have some truly incredible games there. The reality is though as I say....Consistency, Nail that and we have a hell of a player. He has brains, talent and an engine that is as good as anyone's in the premiership ( think he has the record for ground covered in a prem league game)

I have my doubts personally whether he will reach the heights he could reach, And sure we could say that about a lot of players, But seen enough to know he has got what it takes.

I think consistency is always going to be an issue with the younger players, with him I think it's also having belief in himself that he can do and should be playing in the bigger games.

I wish i had your optimism, his mentality much like Downing has always been my gripe. Clearly i'm not his number one fan, but i find it funny if Henderson has a good game, people (not aimed at you) seem to think just because i said don't rate him... that'll somehow i'll be annoyed or devastated that he had a good game! If it's good for LFC then i'm happy..regardless of my opinion.

I just find it a really bizarre thing when people do that
