Nah not sure i agree to be honest. These guys are professional footballers. I know we are all lfc fans, but they are professional. So altgough some players might dream of certain clubs, whether its lfc or real madrid or whoever, they are still professionals. Someone like Firmino or Mane will have an affinity to LFC having been here 7 or 8 years or whatever, they will buy into the club. But they were both born in some shed in the back arse of nowhere, probably lived on pennies during his childhood. If he has say 25m in the bank and this Saudi team can turn that into 60m before he retires, then fair ****s to him i say.

So why should Henderson be any different?? Just because he was born in the back arse of Sunderland instead???

I wont watch that ****e league to be honest but i dont begrudge them it. And people like Ruben Neves who went in their peak years. Do people think he really left a top side in Portugal to join Wolves for anything other than money???

The thing with Henderson is that he portrayed himself as the great defender of the LGBTQ+ community. But that is because it is good for his brand ffs. Just like the likes of Beckham and Gary Neville have turned a blind eye to their "values" and taken the cash on offer with other opportunities.

I don't see what the relevance of where they came from has to do with it? They haven't been in that place for quite some time. The definition of greed is always wanting more of something you already have an abundance of. Whether you think that is a bad thing or not is another conversation, but it is what it is here.

Surely he's free to play football anywhere, and surely the best place he can do that is the place that will secure his family's future financially? He's not endorsing the regime or its laws, he's going there to earn a trade by kicking a ball about.

He's done more for the LGBTQ community than most people, and going there is not him backing the state, he's merely doing the best financially for his wife and kids?
