Ffs hes a team player and he thought the guy next to him had a better chance of scoring.

He doesn't even look at the keeper to see where he would be positioned for a shot though.

Reeked of lack of confidence that pass.

Hes hardly played under rodgers so hes not to be full of confidence.

Can I remind everyone of the site rules when it comes to "abusing" players.

By all means criticise the players, but posts like this are OTT.

Not just aimed at saj - I noticed a few of a similar nature last night, so just putting a general reminder out.

            Thanks.

I hope you dont coach you're team with that language.

I thought he did quite well in terms of being a sort of conveyor of the ball from deep to advanced areas of the pitch. He needs to get confidence in the final third but his workrate was excellent and I thought he linked play pretty well.

I thought he improved as the game went on. Early on he played like a 5-a-side wall, almost ever pass was played straight back first time to the teammate, which is fine if you're keeping possession or creating angles, but he wasn't. I've seen worse performances, but again didn't do enough to suggest he should be anywhere near our starting 11.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I've been saying this for ages. Really gets on my tits the way he does this. He just gets everything wrong imo; when he has time and space to turn he passes it back and when he's under pressure he always takes the wrong pass option. He seems a little slow in the head, if you know what I mean.

He has got more to his locker. I've seen him put in some lovely throgh balls and crosses but that performance last night could've been replicated by any player across the championship (maybe minus the stamina) let alone a £17m player.

I saw him dominate a game for Sunderland v Chelsea, I went to that game and he was phenomenal, bossed the whole par. There is a decent player in there I just don't think he has the mentality to make it.

I've been a defender of his but he's starting to **** me off. His shortcomings are definitely all related to his mentality and lack of self-belief. It's frustrating because technically he's got it.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

                              I agree with both above.

Mentally he seems shot and has shown no sign of digging himself out of it.

If he moves then he may well re discover his form and kick on again but I am not sure he will be able to do that with us now.

Hes struggling badly and I think Rodgers should take him out of the firing line for awhile

Although playing Henderson is not nearly as mystifying as playing Cole, or playing Downing more often than he plays Assaidi
