Nah, Lucas still has something to offer which was highlighted last season when we played we were tougher to break down with him offering genuine cover which was something we missed on too many occasions.

It's good on one hand as he's our best defender. But he's impossible to pair in a two. So we can expect more **** defensive play next season. I think this was the time to maybe part ways. Try and get two that compliment each other. However his experience is probably very important in the current squad. I'm for and against all at once.

Doesn't bode well for Sakho. One is a front-foot defender, pushing up; the other is a last ditch defender who is in perma-retreat mode keen to sit on Mignolet's lap. Now is a good a time as any to sell Lovren, keep Skrtel as a squaddie and partner up Sakho.Comment

Thought Agger was the guy, when paired with him, that Skrtel seemed to have the least brain farts with.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.
