He's a solid consistent performer, only 30.. has a good 5 or 6 years left in him & he's very rarely injured.

Deserves his contract. Hopefully it's sorted soon and we can see the partnership between Skrtel/Sahko grow.

This is a really difficult one.

I think the central defender with the most potential in the longer term for us is Sakho. But Sakho and Skrtel is a disaster. What do we do, we have a **** load of cb's but maybe we need to buy another one

If we do that does mean we need to sell several... will anyone offer us anything for Lovren? Can we trust any of Toure, Coates, Wisdom or Ilori? Skrtel has been our most consistent defender but I can actually see us moving him on this summer. We can't just add a moderately good right back surely?

They were looking a bit more composed together but idk, wasn't that in a 3? We'll be having no more of that please. They scare me in a 2. And what do we do when Sakho gets injured?

Ideally we sell Lovren but I just can't see it, £20m. Eeek! Coates probably sold, we're obviously keeping Toure and Wisdom and who knows about Ilori? Maybe we will just go with what we have in the middle but I'm very unconvinced about that plan.

I think we need cover at left back too actually, Johnson gone, Flannagan broken and Enrique.... yeah, Enrique. What do we do if Moreno gets injured or doesn't improve...

That is a little bit harsh considering he has been a pretty good servant to the club Chris, whether you think he's top class or not. I'm not sure he's worth the contract he probably wants myself but he's entitled to look for a good deal given his apparent status at the club. Just as we're entitled to look to introduce the sort of contracts for older players that are actually very sensible for the club.

Or sell them. Which I do think could happen.
