It's was directed at me after I posted something in another thread, you were being smart arse, that was pretty obvious. You posted a still selective pic to prove a point which didn't tell the full story, in full flow it painted a very different picture. Playing offside when the opposition are in a wide area, crossing a ball into the box and have 3 runners in full flow attempting to run onto the ball... isn't exactly the smartest move. Our other CB was out of position and then we made a mess of it in the box.

We don't agree nothing new, who cares.

To be fair. You are a massively relentless, repetitive bore offering many opinions but little insight.

Not a popular opinion but I think danperkins gets a pretty raw deal on here. He has his trenchant views, some of which I don't agree with and most of which are repeated rather frequently; but often it's because he gets poked and prodded.

He's a sound lad is Dan but I'm also not having it that he's not some sort of stooge hired by Marty to do his PR for him. That or they're related.

It is ****ing weird, someone on RAWK thinks it's probably his ice hockey background but I've no idea about that sport or the way players move so dont know if thats true or not. Seems like a cop out, that was when he was a teenager wasn't it?

Anyway, he's an enormous problem, I'm not actually sure what he's good at? He wins a few headers and makes a few clearances I suppose but theres not a CB in the world who doesnt!! He's meant to be an aggressive commanding centre back but he actively runs away from duels and has been bullied by the likes of 5'9 Dwight Gayle to name one in recent times. He's a really strange player. Rodgers had him figured out in his first season and no surprise we improved a lot defensively when he was dropped then Carra retired and he's been an ever present since, seems to escape because theres always a bigger issue elsewhere like scoring goals or Agger's a crock, whatever. But he needs ****ing off and quickly.
