Skrtel is having the best run of games in his career right now.

I think that's because he's a natural right sided centre back, most of his games have come playing as a left sided centre back (because Carragher has been the right sided centre back). It seems like a minor change but it makes a huge difference. Personally I don't think it's a coincidence that his form has improved since he's played in on his more natural side.

You mentioned that recently and I reckon you're on the money. He's definitely happier on the right hand side of the two. His partnership with Agger is looking more solid by the game so long may it continue.

Yes - i was thinking the exact same thing today.... Skittles is looking very composed on the right side of centre back.. He is a lot more controlled and naturally aggressive (within the rules) there...

Carra has a massive job on his hands to get some game time in the immediate future...
It's a good problem for the King to have..

Much better balance in the team now with Agger and Skrtel. Hopefully Coates will start getting some more game time too. CB problem almost dealt with except we could do with another ball playing defender to cover Agger.

I'd love for us to sign Vertonghen from Ajax. A fantastic defender/dm.

2nd league goal of the season, he's capable of 4 or 5...and it's been a while since we had a CB who scored 4 or 5 league goals in a season.

Skrtel seems to be thriving alongside Agger. Rock solid back 2.
                    Also Aggers run forward today

We've conceded the least amount of goals in the league so far.

I so wish he could have finished it off. He's due a goal or two soon.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Skrtle is thriving, and you can see he really wants it, the hunger is there, loved his goal.

Behind Lucas, our most improved player. He looks the business alongside Agger. Seeing Agger doing the forward surges is one of the best sights in football.

But yeah, Skrtel, he's having a great run just now, long may it continue.
