Skrtel has been excellent the last 6 games or so, credit where credit is due. He's a bit rash and does some crazy things but the Skrtel/Agger partnership has been superb, it's no coincidence that we've been defensively sound since Carra is out of the side. An absolute legend and top pro but should be used sparingly from now on in.

Hopefully Skrtel has finally turned a corner, much improved as is Johnson. It's a nice feeling for us to have a consistent backline for a change, and we a reaping the benefits.

Him and Agger must be live-in lovers.

He is as much responsible for the win as anyone with that clearance off the line, crucial intervention. He played really well tonight, was sharp in the tackle and read the game well.

He's emerging as our leader at the back.

Did I hear right in commentary .... that's Agger's first time to play 10 consecutive games for LFC?

Great partnership considering, must be serious work been done on the training pitch.

Great again today. And that clearance off the line
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

last year he was a bit of a liability, he's a rock this season, wins all his challenges, heads the ball well, great clearance off the line today, he's been our best player the iseason so far
