I don't think he can adapt to the possession football tactic were trying to play. Defensively, on his day, he can one of the premier leagues best. However if he gets played back to him its worrying to watch as he has no idea of what to do with it.

I'd expect another CB who can play on the floor to come in and replace him in the summer.

It all depends if you have somone that can do a better job. IMO Carra and Skrtel doesn`t fit well together and Coates doesn`t seem to be up for it.
So that leaves Agger to play, with whoever BR think is on form.

Its worrying..but its a shambles..That back 4 and Pepe did not have the luxury of Lucas (full season) and Gerrard (over half a season) playing infront of the them last year (Spearing and Adam) and did not conceed as many goals.

We had 40 goals against us all last season. 34 so far. I can't recall another season were we have been beaten repeatedly by more than 1 goal.

Well if that's your logic then we should field no one for the next game or the under 18's as they all played below par against WBA...

If you read the thread where this point was brought up it was all about man-management and treating all players equally regardless of standing and status i the team
