He was marking Kompany woefully, he left Negredo and gave Navas the simple pass through to him. Mignolet also at fault too on that second one.

And this is his great games?!

He's just not a defender suited for a top side. Great defenders don't need to commit themselves to the ground so often. He also commits a foul worthy of a penalty in every corner. He's just so poor in the air, that he gets beaten even when he pulls Kompany's shirt and doesn't let him lift off the ground.

Kompany is half man, half animal though; one of the best defenders on the planet so can't really compare Skrtel to him.

        But yeah, Skrtel scares me.

Skrtel made some mistakes no doubts but ffs have covered across the whole back line. Lost count of the vital tackles he made.

Either way, good thing he was where he was.....

Well, seeing that he was directly at fault for both goals, which contributed to a 2-1 loss, I find this a strange statement.

He played well (think we're all being influenced by Sky/BT coverage of his shirt pulling. If they kept on showing highlights of his tackles, blocks etc we'd be creaming ourselves with praise - it's a fickle world we live in )
              Another MASSIVE game

                You despise him don't you?

Took the bones out of Mig's wrist as a pre-game prank did he?

Haha agree, BT literally couldn't stop talking about the shirt grabbing last two games. He's pretty bad for it but every single premier league match there is war in the box. Micky Owen has a real bee in his bonnet about it.

so bad when you look at replay. Such a lousy goal to lose to.

That was absolutely **** goalkeeping. He's been brilliant so he's entitled to make a mistake, just a total ****er that it came today.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Hope he doesn't let it affect him, big game Sunday. He's earned the right to mess up once but so close to half time we shouldn't have had everybody forward for a corner.

skrtel had a decent game today. we would all like our players to be perfect but try and remember we were playing a team that will probably win the league. he was struggling against some top class opposition and also having to try and watch runners who were not being covered by his team mates.
if it wasnt for several of his vital interceptions we might have conceded six or more.

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.
