Mignolet has been very average lately. He doesn't command at all. Gets brushed off when trying to win 50/50 balls. FFS.

He has these little purple patches but they are always complimented by equal swathers of stupidity. He's ****ing ridiculous. This clambering on the box thing has been picked up by EVERYONE yet he's still doing it. Fair enough so do most other defenders but they aren't totally under the spotlight.
He's got clangers ahoy in his locker and I'm sure that his last ditch heroics somewhat hide his positional naïvety. If we got a good offer then we should take it as he's very much replaceable.
That said between him, Agger and Toure they aren't exactly covering themselves in glory so he's by no means the uber villian of the piece!A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

Just seem MOTD. That was some seriously **** defending by him. If Agger was taken off for reasons other than injury I think Skrtel was lucky to stay on. Pure individual errors. Needless foul on Shelvey when he'd already played the ball. Tugging on Bony was a joke too
We are just going to have to get through to the end of th season with these guys then seriously asses the three remaining defensive positions because Sakho is exempt from it at mo

Must say that was never a foul on Shelvey, never a yellow, and the penalty decision was even worse. He didn't do anything. They came into contact but it's a contact sport. Bony's built like a heavyweight boxer - and yet he just crumbled to the ground when he felt Skrtel. Obviously we all know certain refs have been dying to give one of those against Skrtel but that was a ridiculous decision IMO.
Skrtel was poor on the day - not as poor as Agger but poor nevertheless - but the two goals I mentioned were bad decisions. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

It was a pathetic refereeing performance again. We got nothing. It felt like we were playing against 12 men for most of the game. Yet we won.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostMust say that was never a foul on Shelvey, never a yellow, and the penalty decision was even worse. He didn't do anything. As others have said this is a game we would have drawn or even last last season.

it's amazing though that any reasonably strong/big centre forward, regardless of ability - causes us so many problems and has done for so longOriginally posted by Shaggy View PostMust say that was never a foul on Shelvey, never a yellow, and the penalty decision was even worse.
