Finally looks like we're going to see Lovren/Sakho paired with someone that isn't Skrtel, I'm fascinated to see how that turns out.
I'd love to see how Sakho at LCB and Lovren at RCB pans out and I hope we go with that. However, even Toure doesn't drop as deep as Skrtel does. Toure also seems far more comfortable at RCB than LCB as his early partnership with Agger last season hinted at. Toure also is more vocal and only really deteriorated when he played LCB with Skrtel if memory serves.
I'm fascinated to see what Rodgers does though. It'll be interesting to see where he sees Sakho's place in the squad. If Rodgers does go with Lovren and Toure then it's clear that he sees Sakho as a back up to Lovren, rather than a starter in his own right.
That said, I've got a suspicion that he might go for 3-5-2 tomorrow if Skrtel is unavailable.
He'd made up like he's a tattoo adorned skinhead nutcase but all the clips I saw was Skrtel ****ting himself while Costa pushed him about and generally tried to wind him up. Spain lost though so last laugh and all that.
Is Costa a hard man ? sure he's quick to square up to people, but when someone really pushes it he backs down, or has everytime i've seen him in Spain.
