I wouldn't be so sure. It's not necessarily bigger clubs, but clubs with better chances of success and clubs playing in the champions league regularly, there are plenty of them. We've been out of he CL for years and don't look like at getting back in anytime soon, others will look at poaching our top players.Brandt - Keita - Van Dijk - Sessegnon

I'm not so sure, a certain club paid 50million for a badly out of form Spanish Striker once.Originally posted by Chris View PostReina wont be getting a move anywhere on this form, Suarez owes us a bit longer than 18 months and Skrtel hasnt done it for long enough to get a bigger move than us.

Torres was actually in a decent run of form when Chelsea signed him though, he looked like he was just starting to find his goalscoring form again when he left us.Originally posted by Vermilion View PostI'm not so sure, a certain club paid 50million for a badly out of form Spanish Striker once.

I'd say he was on ok form, compared to his best, which is pretty much how i see Pepe now tbh.Originally posted by Pablo1981 View PostTorres was actually in a decent run of form when Chelsea signed him though, he looked like he was just starting to find his goalscoring form again when he left us.
I doubt anyone who likes or has wanted to sign Pepe before would be put off is what i'm saying.

I think the best teams on the world will have been put off by it personally. He was regarded as one of the best keepers in the world a couple of seasons ago. No one outside of LFC sees him that way at the moment. No way could I see the likes of Barca coming in for him now, but it was conceivable two years ago.Originally posted by Vermilion View PostI'd say he was on ok form, compared to his best, which is pretty much how i see Pepe now tbh.

Anyone know why he wasn't involved yesterday?

Fair enough, but tbh, it would all depend on what situation a side was in really too, and what keepers were available, but imo he's still considered as one of the best keepers in the world.Originally posted by Pablo1981 View PostI think the best teams on the world will have been put off by it personally. I think almost everyone associated with LFC has been somewhat tainted by the last season or two, or three!
but form can be re'captured.

Well "one" is a big vague really isn't it. Either way it might be a good thing for us. I can't see a huge club coming in for him right now, which means it's more likely he will stayOriginally posted by Vermilion View PostFair enough, but tbh, it would all depend on what situation a side was in really too, and what keepers were available, but imo he's still considered as one of the best keepers in the world.

Well he's not two of the best keepers around.

On a serious note, right now he's like the rest of the players really, almost to a man their form needs to pick up.Last edited by Vermilion; 14-05-12, 10:51 AM.
