The fact that Brendan is under scrutiny is undeniable, even he would surely admit it.

I'd imagine he can rescue the situation by either securing top 4 (looks unlikely) or by absolutely acing whatever meeting he has with FSG. He has not met his seasonal objectives, questions will be asked for sure. The outcome.... Uncertain.

      square pegs round holes.

i think its so difficult to judge rodgers as no one really knows what goes on with our transfers. so many lately dont seem to fit.

whilst we arent the richest club we have spent enough to be in a better position. we consistently are mugs in the transfer market. sell for little and pay for too much.

Second season he went back to the Swansea system and then moved into the diamond

This season he started again with the Swansea system and then went 3-4-3

I assume he would be trying the Swansea system again early part of next season assuming he stays
I also think the realisation of this will ultimately be his undoing.

Every managerial change you undertake is a gamble, what you are gambling on is whether they will do better than the current manager

I'd happily take that gamble on Klopp or De Boer over Rodgers

I'd also take issue whether we think Klopp or De Boer would waive a magic wand and make everything ok

All you are looking for is progress, we havent progressed this season. I never had unreal expectations either I didnt expect a title charge but I thought we would get top 4. Frankly we havent even been close to that this season
I hate it when people trot out this magic wand line. No-one is expecting miracles. But like you say, we need to have plan and progress. But I also just don't get Rodgers, he's not a guy I would want associated with me, he's a bit of a bull****ter and I don't think he's handling the players too well. Some of the players who left have described him as a deceitful person who told strung them along, suspect they are making themselves look better but the truth is usually somewhere between.

I still very much doubt we will be changing manager in the summer, unless Brendan leaves of his own accord.

We'd have to completely collapse and finish 7th or so for FSG to consider a change of manager in my opinion. Last season will have given him credit in the bank with the owners... it was a huge over achievement.

Kenny finished 8th. Got us a trophy mind, not that stopped some of the disloyal vermin on here who stick the knife in ASAP as we've seen with Carragher, Kenny himself and now the shocking garbage written about Steven Gerrard. We are a truly awful fanbase.

Sorry my opinions dont fit with your "superfan" image

For the record I didnt want Kenny sacked at the time but on reflection and looking back with hindsight maybe it was right at the time

Carragher and Gerrard I have nothing but admiration for they have enough credits in the bank over the years and in reality they should have had players carrying them not the other way round in their latter years

Lets get Gerrard in as manager. I'm sure he would breakout of the LA contract to manage us.
