or £7.50 for that matter.Originally posted by Norbs View PostCan't believe anyone would fork out £20 for one of those

I'd say Brendan has a **** load of them though.......probably wears one while admiring that portrait of his that dominates his living room."I will make the boys feel your support"

That's a bit discourteous towards the current manager, if you don't mind me saying.................just because he has a portrait of himself dominating his house, may or may not wear recently discounted T-Shirts with his face printed on them, has a picture of himself as his phone's wallpaper, and makes sure everybody at the club calls him 'The Boss' or The Gaffer' (even Pascoe), he's not some sort of narcissistic megalomaniac who enjoys firing out some knuckle children every now and then countenancing his own glorious visage.Originally posted by Norbs View PostAdmiring in a 'having a wank' way?"I will make the boys feel your support"

Have to say, to say we are supposed to be the best fans in the world, there has been an unbelievable amount of disrespect shown to the current manager. For all his faults, this man is one who would sweat blood and tears for the cause, more so than most of our players would be willing to do.
Before anyone moans, I'm talking about fans in general, not primarily this site. I'm all for changing the manager and I've already put my reasonings down, but I would not stoop to the despicable levels shown by some of our fan base to get him out.Forwards.......

Its a sad reflection of the sensationalist nature of the contemporary football fan, and the anything goes mentality when talking about football.

That's it. Reading the posts of people on the net makes me think they're all some sort of emotional nut jobs.Originally posted by Daniel 7 View Post

I've visited a couple of sites the past few days and some things said are truly appalling. A lot of things being said about his problems in his personal life which is uncalled for.Originally posted by DannyMan2006 View PostThat's it. I'm afraid these are the new age fans we have attracted over the course of the decades and now they have a platform (t'internet) to show us what sort of upbringing they had.Originally posted by DannyMan2006 View PostHave to say, to say we are supposed to be the best fans in the world, there has been an unbelievable amount of disrespect shown to the current manager. It does feel that we have passed critical mass in the amount of support Brendan requires though
That said, I'm still not paying £20 for a Brendan t shirt. I doubt they'll be flying of the shelves at £7.50.Last edited by Buzzo; 24-05-15, 12:29 PM.Modifying post.
