I'm sure his best pal Gordon has had a massive influence on Rodgers staying. Bond is annoyingly strong. Probably sacrifice goats together at the hellfire club they joined.

I can't see it being anything other than a chat. I would have loved it if Klopp had taken over but I reckon it's a banker for Rodgers to stay, and we are all going to have to get behind him for the time being if that's the case. I do worry about us next season with him in charge, but sure we'll see how the transfer window goes.

I'd be amazed if he goes now, with Klopps comments, Ancelotti's supposed surgery, it being June already, press being briefed on us about to sign players etc. I also think if they were ****ing him off they'd do it from the comfort of Boston. Theres going to be some meltdowns on here over the next few days. A few will probably need a police visit to check they are ok!

Bearing in mind if and its a big if the reports are correct .....Klopp, Ancelotti and Benitez are off limits, Do you still want him gone? and who would you like instead?

If things had gone well this season it would have been a formality and Gordon would have handled it. The fact that Werner has made the trip suggests to me that a decision has to be made. In that sense I guess it would be 50/50 either way. Contrasting this season's expectations with the reality we were nowhere near where we should have been. Looking for signs of promise for the forthcoming season? Nope. There are no indications that we are building anything (apart from work on the main stand!) and therefore I am confident that he'll get the chop.
