Right the decision has been made and he's staying so time to get behind the club and manager. He should go IMO but he'll get my support now it's decided he's staying.
Will investors be interested though? There's 2 oil-backed mega-rich clubs & 2 commercial giants in our league. It's a very difficult one to get ahead in nowadays.

Indeed, but the situation would probably have put a dampener on potential interest.
If somebody had a genuine interest I don't see how it would. We were officially for sale - Barclay's Capital were shopping us around all over the world.
Because the state of the books then was awful that is why FSG moved in they knew how to turn around finances thats what they do, now that we are profitable it will attract different investors. i.e. PSG etc
What are you talking about? Our finances were the way they were due to the leveraged buy-out Hicks and Gillett instigated. When were we bought by FSG, the sale cash then went to RBS to repay that debt, hence it was taken off our books - it wasn't due to magical FSG stewardship; anybody (with the resources) could have done it.
How much profit do we make then? And how much will somebody be raking-in if they shell out the $1.5 bil you propose?

You won't feel like that once he signs more mediocre rubbish this summer and then the season starts and we start dropping points. Easy to be reasonable now but just wait.
One thing we can all agree with and that is if Rodgers has another season like this he will be sacked, no ifs, or review meeting bollocks, he's toast. If he has another first half of season like the last one he's toast as well. In the meantime I'm getting behind him. "We go again"

Although a bad start to the season could see things escalate quick quickly.

I never said there was logic involved, FSG have increased the revenues of the club whilst reducing cost. That is what they have done whilst remaining fairly debt free.
So arguably now a global name with massive support (revenue) could be available at multiples of revenue..that's how gungadin...
All that needs to be found is a megalomaniac with an ego...and billions...plenty of them around..especially as owning a football club is hipster these days for the super rich..
Rodgers better have a hell of a start to the season. Not one ****ing clueless game. Clean slate come kick off time, one season to convince people he knows what he's doing. Top 4 or bust next season and it better be done in the style he's waffled on about for 3 ****ing years.
