They now need to decide whether sacking a manager mid-season is the right thing to do, given that a new manager will have to work with the previous managers signings and knowing that it is difficult to sign players in January. Fsg have judged this one wrong imo.
If FSG were really ambitious and cared about winning stuff they would have sacked him last summer. Last season was so bad that his position should have untenable. I mean, 6-1 at Stoke is unacceptable.

FSG will be loathed to get rid of him. I think it'll take a lot to persuade them to spend the money on severing his contract and signing someone else. Not just the money though, they're also probably trying to avoid looking incompetent sacking a man they have just given a lorry load of cash to spend on players.

A clueless manager employed by a management structure that's clueless can only lead to disaster. Especially when you factor in the bull**** that they've tolerated and allowed to fester thus far. It's simply a matter of how far and how long they'll hang the fans out to suffer now

As a comparator, before a managerial change was made (league only)

        Evans/Houllier
        4 wins in 12

        Hodgson
        7 wins in 20

        Souness (spring 94)
        5 wins in 16

        Rafa
        7 wins in 16 (2010)

He’s here! I *know* he’s here! That’s him, I’m telling you that’s him! You hear me? I’m telling you it’s *Keyser Soze*!

I said a few weeks ago that he was in a fragile position. Locally nobody has time for him. He should have gone at the end of last season. He's a total chancer and his luck has run out.

He's got great teeth - that goes a long way with the yanks.

If he gets some pneumatic breasts and lips then he might even supplant Linda

The yanks clearly know **** all about football. We're in a much better place than we were under the other yanks. It's just depressing that this is acceptable. The new yanks don't appreciate the game, they are happy if the club is making money.

They make more money if we win.

Spin it every way you like, they'd rather we were winning than losing. And if they thought sacking Rodgers would make us win more, they'd do it. Because that would equal more money.

I don't question their ambition personally, I question their knowledge. And tbh, that is as big a worry as anything else.

They're the biggest biggest problem IMO. They completely lucked out on buying in with the Suarez deal already in the bag. Went with the breeze insofar as ditching Hodgson for the obvious choice of Kenny - who was then thrown to the wolves as quickly as 'need be'. They've subsequently fudged us all between Rodgers and the committee, who besides their failings, which due to obfuscation we're unable to assign actual responsibility, we find ourselves in this position. Rodgers is out of his depth and being hung out to dry whilst the Cowboys twiddle their Spurs looking for the next cheapest flavour to spice their rotten beef. BR would love to do the job but he's a cyclist employed by a team of accountants trying to fly a jumbo jet

                    Think that's garbage tbh.

They want to win IMO. They're just not very good.

Rodgers is definitely out of his depth, that's not his fault. He's doing his best, but it's not good enough.

Could well be, just my opinion based upon what I'm seeing - bluffers employing a bigger bluffer

We should have loaned him out to Aston Villa
