Thanjk you.

If BR had a plan which he stuck to and which didn't involve different shaped pegs and holes I'd be far less pessimistic.
Agreed.id be more positive tbh if he'd only got the job in the summer. Because that's what it looks like. Then I could forgive having to force players out of position. Problem is, the two main players out of position were Firmino & Ings. And I have to wonder where he expects them to play.
Liverpool are standing by their manager for now, but there is a realistic view the current standard of performance cannot be tolerated for much longer.
Rodgers has two forthcoming home games in the Premier League against Norwich and Aston Villa, as well as a League Cup tie with Carlisle at Anfield. These fixtures will offer the greatest indication as to whether the malaise that has set in – and which began in the closing weeks of last season – can be reversed.
Rodgers not only needs positive results immediately, he also requires a standard of performance and a style of play to prevent further discussion about the direction for the rest of the season.
Although the criticism of him has intensified after back-to-back defeats, it was only five games ago the Liverpool board reiterated their preference for continuity.
“We take a long-term view on these matters,” Liverpool chairman Tom Werner said on August 7.
“We do believe Brendan is the right man for Liverpool and the right man to take the club forward.
“Our track record demonstrates that our approach and attitude is very much focused on stability. We have demonstrated that both on and off the pitch.”
To act on the basis of two defeats, albeit they were accompanied by dire performances, would represent a monumental u-turn by Fenway Sports Group.
That does not mean patience is infinite, however. The club's executives recognised a tough fixture list away from home at the start of this campaign, but now Rodgers must make the most of the forthcoming Anfield fixtures to suppress the early season debate regarding his position.
I don't buy the story of our good start to the season. We were piss poor and down right lucky in the 3 wins. Played just ok for about 20 mins against a poor Arsenal makeshift back 4. Beyond dire against the hammers and pathetic against man u. Add that to every single game since losing to man u last season.
In reality we have been terrible since then with no sign of any improvement. FSG's desire for stability is a noble concept but you can't keep stable a sinking ship which is what we are beginning to look like.
