He needs to do himself a favour and be calm. Ignore the criticism and bite his tongue. He just can't help himself though, he'd be the first to shout told you so if we turned it around.

People do want him out so its not totally paranoia. Still makes him look a tit for saying it though

I think people are making way too much out of this. He's taken a lot of criticism. It's only natural to want to vent when you feel vindicated. Most other managers do so too (albeit some with more wit).

What he needs to realise is that people want him out with some justification. Its hardly a witch hunt.

An awareness of the run we've been on would be a start, he needs to stop pretending its all part of this massive masterplan.

Vindication is fine, but after one win and a decent performance is not the time or the place to do it.

Maybe after three games, where there's some consistency, then perhaps he can say something then.

I just think it's an emotional response after a needed win. To my mind people are reading too much into it.

Rodgers has a habit of talking a lot. That seems to be the top and bottom of this really.

After the Arsenal game I said that he was only a loss or two away from being under tremendous pressure. Even if he strings a few wins together now as soon as he loses again the pressure will be on him. He can't win. Most fans wanted rid of him at the end of last season, but FSG in their wisdom decided to drag this out. It's inevitable that he'll be booted out, the fans are not fickle - they have already made their minds up. I'm glad he got us three points today it'll make things easier for whoever takes over.

If he really turns around our form (including defensively) he'll deservedly keep his job.

Thing is he's had 3 years to improve the defence and its got worse. It's safe to say he won't improve the defence.
